This is a story about two friends, Stacey and April, who haven’t seen each other in nearly a decade. After graduating from school, Stacey moved to a big city, while April stayed in their hometown. Now, as they reunite, new and unfamiliar feelings arise between them. But first, they must understand each other and reminisce about their past in order to be together.

Tails and Pines is a short novel about envy, love, relationships, and pursuing your dreams. Do you realize your dreams at the cost of everything else, or abandon them to stay true to yourself? Or perhaps neither path is the right one?
