"The game impressively maintains a solid core gameplay experience that many players enjoy, features both nostalgic elements of early 2000s gaming that allow for engaging survival mechanics and social interaction, and offers beautiful external environments with a degree of replayability; however, it suffers from long load times, frequent crashes and bugs, and high instances of lag during multiplayer modes, while also lacking a comprehensive tutorial for newcomers, has some combat mechanics that lack variety leading to a diminished interest, and exposes certain players to motion sickness issues which deems it unplayable for them as well as reveals a divided opinion on the effectiveness of the narrative and a call for improved character development and AI behavior to enrich the overall experience."
