"The game boasts excellent performance and visual enhancements greatly appreciated by players, a deeply engaging gameplay depth that combines dark narratives with charming aesthetics and a well-implemented ATB battle system considered among the best in the genre, as well as high replayability bolstered by effective mods; however, it has notable downsides, including slow performance and unresponsive controls, frequent freezing and crashes that detract from stability, and significant weaknesses in secondary character development which, coupled with a slow ATB system and limited playtime, leave players feeling mixed about their overall experience and progression, despite considerable nostalgia and enjoyment, alongside concerns regarding unnecessary grinding for achievements and graphic issues that affect both the Steam version and character designs perceived as derivative."
