"The predominant feedback from players highlights that the game's mechanics and stability during gameplay are exceptional, the engaging content, particularly in the Kenway Fleet mini-game, creates significant enjoyment, and the rich gameplay depth with an immersive open-world exploration keeps players invested; however, there are major concerns regarding server connection issues leading to frustrating interruptions, frequent crashes on modern PCs that prevent players from reaching the main menu, and the inability to save progress, which drastically affects the gaming experience. Additionally, while players enjoy the deep story and character development centered around Edward and appreciate the beautiful landscapes, they express dissatisfaction with the game being locked at 60fps, the poor AI of enemies compared to previous titles, and the lack of variety in endings and multiplayer options, which hinders replay value, and mixed feelings regarding forced gameplay segments detracting from overall enjoyment indicate a need for balance in gameplay mechanics, alongside criticisms of graphics stability and the game’s storyline that fails to fully satisfy, showcasing the divide between engaging and frustrating components within the gaming experience."
