"The game has been praised for being one of the most enjoyable recent entries in the metroidvania genre, featuring beautiful pixel art that enhances the gameplay experience and providing fun and interesting mechanics that create a deep and thrilling gameplay environment; however, it suffers from significant lag and latency issues that detract from the overall performance, a lack of map clarity which makes navigation difficult, and bugs that cause players to get stuck in certain areas, while players also express concerns regarding the poorly executed combo system and story, alongside a desire for greater customization in controls and improved matchmaking systems for a more balanced multiplayer experience, leading to mixed feelings about the demo’s stability and sound design quality, further complicating the overall reception despite the fluid combat and positive aspects of community interaction."
