"Players highly commend the game's faithful regard for original elements alongside its appealing graphics and the tactical depth of gameplay, yet they simultaneously express disappointment over significant performance issues, particularly on MacBook M1, with prevalent stuttering and long loading times, as well as severe bugs that disrupt playability; additionally, while many enjoy the nostalgic value and a strong emotional connection to the game, there is considerable frustration regarding inaccurate controls, the need for improved audio and interface issues, limited replayability options, including the urge for diverse endings and enhanced multiplayer features, and mixed feedback about the remaster's quality and content value which leaves some players seeking more customization and substantive attacks against the visible bugs and graphically unimproved visuals which ultimately undercut their enjoyment and the ultimate reliving of what they once cherished."
